Refund Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026.

Before you rely on this

This policy has been drafted to reflect how we actually operate. It is not legal advice, and it has not yet been reviewed by an attorney. If you have questions about how it applies to you, contact us at [email protected] before placing an order.

1. The short version

If we commit to a grade band in writing and miss it, you get your money back for that engagement. If we cancel or fail to deliver, you get your money back. If you cancel partway, you pay for what was done and we refund the rest.

2. Grade commitment refunds

Before work begins on an eligible engagement we state a target grade band in writing. If the final grade falls below that band, you are entitled to a refund of what you paid for that engagement.

To claim, send us the final gradebook entry within 14 days of the grade being posted. We verify it against the commitment in your quote and process the refund within 10 business days of approving the claim.

3. When the commitment applies

The commitment stands where all of the following are true:

  • A target band was stated in writing in your quote before work started.
  • You gave us accurate and complete course information, including all graded components.
  • We had access to the course for the period agreed, without interruption caused by changed passwords or revoked access.
  • You did not submit your own work into the engagement in a way that affected the outcome.
  • There was enough time remaining when you engaged us to reach the band. Where there is not, we tell you before you pay, and no commitment is given.

4. When it does not apply

We are direct about this rather than burying it. A commitment does not apply to engagements where we told you up front that we could not give one — most commonly heavily proctored exams, courses already too far gone to recover, and assessments with requirements we cannot meet. In those cases you are told before payment, and the engagement proceeds on a best-effort basis with no grade commitment attached.

5. Cancellation refunds

Cancel before work starts and you are refunded in full. Cancel partway and you pay for completed work at the proportion delivered; the balance is refunded. Because most first engagements complete the opening task before upfront payment, cancelling early usually costs you nothing.

6. Revisions come first

Where delivered work does not match the brief, we would rather fix it than refund it. Revisions are free and unlimited within the scope of the original instructions. A refund claim on quality grounds should follow a revision request, not replace it.

7. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your order reference and the reason. We acknowledge within 2 business days and give you a decision within 10. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

8. Disputes

If you disagree with a decision, ask for it to be reviewed and a different member of the team will look at it. We would rather resolve a dispute directly than through a chargeback, which usually takes longer for everyone.
